I don't think they change it in the UK. Norway is 1 hour behind them in summer time, and 0 hours behind in winter (or opposite way around).

Silly Nordic man.... we invented daylight savings, hell we even invented time, if it wasn't for the UK you would't have any idea whether it was day or night.

So you do change hours in the UK? Maybe you change it on other dates then...?

Yes we turned the clocks back 1 hour on Sunday. (Spring forward, fall back)

Generally because the majority of the world does it it doesn't affect the differences between 2 countries unless the countries are on different hemipheres.

So last week, New York time was 5 hours behind UK time, next week it will still be 5 hours behind. (At the moment I think it is 4 hours behind as they change the clocks a week later, whether this happens every year I don't know)

When talking about Australia though, Perth on the West coast is, I think, 8 hours ahead of UK time officially, except that because of both countries daylight savings it is either 7 or 9 hours ahead, but not 8 (except for short periods when both are changing the clocks)
