come on.....the wi holiday lineup IS terrible compared to the HD brother n sister...

 

 

I'm inclined to agree. The HD twins do have a stronger lineup of holiday releases.

The difference I see is that those holiday releases (with the notable exception of LBP) largely appeal to the same market who are likely to already own an HD console, while games like Wii Music and Animal Crossing are unique enough that they just might entice people who haven't bought into this gen to buy some hardware.

It might, but I think you'll find most of the people who want to play Gears 2 are people who have already played Gears 1 on their 360.
