But wait, didn't activating the marker do something to the necromorphs anyway? I know that when it activated near the end, the other morphs coming at me just dropped dead on the bridge there... So I'm guessing it did hurt the Hive Mind a bit (thus how Isaac was able to beat her so easily, or maybe she just sucks either way!). So, if the Hive Mind is really the toughest one out there and was barely able to fight, and if it was really Nicole on that other bench back in the shuttle, then maybe the blast radius when the marker got activated wasn't strong enough (meaning it didn't kill everything and Nicole would even be more powerful than the Hive Mind)?
