I have decided that I will be tinkering with level designs and post several in this thread. Check updated notes on the first page for details.

 

If I recall correctly you have to quickly jump and grab the owl that is over the breaking bridge (on second playthrough) before he goes up and out of view.

 

 

Another method is that there is a sticker switch of a shoe in the first level.  If you throw the sticker on it will begin a hidden race and there will be an owl waiting for you to swing on.  This will also get you the "secret stickerist" trophy
