With the recession being innevitable I would say that old MacDonald would be struggling to make a tidy profit on his produce because nobody is willing to buy his lovely free range eggs and his organic beetroot for the high prices he demands.
He was going to the bank for a business loan so he can explore new ventures in producing cheaper foods that people would buy, but the bank refused him because the government had to buy it out.
MacDonald had to sell his farm and his wife and now he is homeless and begging for money.
