Ahem . . . you forgot Poland Final Fantasy. Getting Square away from Nintendo was a huge coup for Sony that is hard to overestimate.

It is a major game of that generation, and it is one of my favorites... if you look at my post again though, I was only posting new games major gameplay changes. I said, "As much as we like to think generations are won by established franchises each gen has it's new ones that define the winner."

I used to think that FF was key to success, too. But the time I made that arguement (when I was new on here)I had my ass handed to me by some of the more knowledgable posters... FF didn't goto PSone because of storage, it's because in Japan it had already won the console race.

You see, the "war" has always been decided in Japan, and early... Not that this one is set in stone, the markets outside of Japan are much bigger than they were, but they're going in the same direction.
