Just what is this supposed to mean? I haven't played MGS2 yet (this will soon change) but what is 'inherently shallow and meaningless' about the ending of MGS3? And why are people appreciating MGS2 'better' (at least that's what you seem to imply) than those who liked MGS3 better? I could slightly understand you - wouldn't agree though - if you were comparing Transformers to There Will Be Blood, but this is two MGS's for christ's sake!
