I never heard anything about that..and as such, would say it's not true. That's not a definitive answer. I also say that displaying 2060p isn't right because..2060 won't exist, it should be 2160, and I'm pretty sure that resolution looks no better to the human eye than does 1080p..on top of there not being any TV's that support that output..then again, theres a lot that doesn't make sense these days, so a TV displaying what those watching it can't really interpret doesn't sound too far fetched. Plus, I'm sure 2160 resolution might actually be noticeable on larger TV's might be slightly noticeable over 1080 as I've seen 1080 resolution on large TV's (70"+) not always look HD.

Then again, I could be completely wrong too..=P
