I don't get the 360 vs Ps3 price arguments

Lately, people have been using

Wow! a 199$ X360  outsold a 400$ Ps3 for one week, big deal!

 

But people also say

1) The Ps3 has more value than the 360

 

 

So, if you ask how it is more valuable, as it does after all have a worse library of games. This leads to 2 answers.

A) The Ps3 has Blue-Ray

B) The Ps3 has free online

 

And this leads to

2) As you have to pay for live and a HD-Drive, the X360 is really more expensive than the Ps3.

 

So which of these arguments do you think of as the "correct" one, as I see no way they can co-exist.

Is it

A) The 360 beating the Ps3 is no feat, as it is lower priced.

B) The 360 has a roughly equal value to the Ps3, and costs the same/more than the Ps3.

or the answer that most people will use (and that probably is the correct one)
