I don't think I have said once that I don't belive that PS3 will beat xbox360 WW. The only thing I am argue against is that it magicaly should get those huge sales it need to beat the 360 before end of 2008 with the help of two games, MGS4 and GTA4, that is clearly aimed for the american market more than the Japanese. Some people in this thread has mention that PS3 needs to sell 200k/week to overtake 360 during 2008. I have hard to see that happening without selling well in all markets and MGS4 + GTA4 wont give that edge in Japan.
In USA we have just recently seen PS3 selling more than 360 and that is after the price cut. Now we have a price cut on the 360, so this week should be intressting if 360 sells more than PS3 after that price drop (in USA). If that is the case PS3 really needs PAL and Japan.
My point is that saying that it is clearly so that PS3 will pass 360 WW during 2008 seems a little bit optimistic. I would also like to say that I belive that PS3 never will pass 360 in USA, if not microsoft kills of xbox360 as they did with xbox.
