Fable 2 "IGN" review comes out 8 Anti-Meridian Central Standard Time

They actually gave the first Fable a 9.3

So I doubt they'll be dropping the score so low for the sequel.

The Fable series has always been a beauty in the eye of a certain beholder.  If the same guy reviews it for sure.  But that doesnt mean it will happen.

 

 

Aren't you downplaying fable 2 a bit too much now?

You've been raving about this game, and when a review is coming, you are downplaying it... You've been watching McCain too often :p

can you really not see what he's doing.

Starcraft was all hyped about Fable 2 saying it was the RPG of the year in each thread and so on

then when it comes close to release he suddenly starts saying he expects an"8.5" from reviewers.

He's just pulling a SONY....making sure there are low expectations so there is no way hopes can be shattered & so helping to make sure Vg Chartz doesn't see Fable 2 as a game that comparatively "got bad reviews" compared to LBP which releases at the same time.

I think its a smart game he is playing actually.....as if the case arises where Fable 2 does get below a 9 he can say I told you so Vg Chartz....why are you all disappointed

If the case arrises where the reviews are LOWER than LBP....then he can say....oh I expected an 8.5....so Vg chartz you shouldn't be surprised LBP won.

After seeing previews of Fable 2 and so on...only a fool would predict it would get below a 9....the game looks fantastic.
