Wii Music >>>>> LBP - in term of sales i think
LPB is better since it can make music just like Wii Music and a lot more as well as being far more creative.
LBP is also better in the sense that for a Non- music orientated game it actually has some really good sound unlike Wii Music which i read on IGN i think it was, uses some crappy sound format (don't know the exact details but i'm sure you could find it online if you wanted to).
LBP offers gaming and creativity to all ages not just under 8's.
