European Users: How well is PS3 selling in Europe?

So, I think the VG Charts number effectivly shows the number of SHIPPED PS3 ...not the number of sold ones. Supposedly 300k in UK, 150k in France and 100k in Germany and at least 80k in Spain gives 630k already, so how can that be? Are all these numbers bogus then? PS: It hasn't sold out in Spain either.
