It must also be said that crisis forced manufacturers and resellers to slash HDTV sets more than they predicted before, so, while this now just manages to avoid sales plummeting, once the acute period will be over, HDTV diffusion should start to accelerate sooner, helping HD console a little bit (but not damaging Wii at all, gameplay is its strong point, but a crisper and bigger screen should help it too even if not fully exploited by Wii's graphics).
