Are you joking? Metroid is an awesome franchise, and the only FPS game on console that I'm remotely interested in. I find Halo boring. I don't think you can compare Metroid to Killzone. Look at the Metroid Prime vs Killzone reviews -- 9.8 to 7.5? That's "best of the excellent games" being compared to "another mediocre shooter".
Killzone hasn't ever earned the right to be compared to top franchises like Halo and Metroid. If you think it has, you're really, really reaching.
Comparing it to Halo may be legitimate since Halo is considered by many to be among the best console FPS games. Metroid has a much larger adventure element to it which I feel makes it a different game type.
