Will PS3 eventually pass 360?

The price is what holds down the ps3 from selling ps2 numbers. We see a $399.99 or $349.99 80gb ps3 or 40gb ps3, it will outsell anything out there but maybe not the wii. I never said the wii is a fad. "If" we see the ps3 near 10million units this christmas it has a chance to surpass nintendo's console. The $399.99 is the ps3's sweet spot for rocket high sales.

Also I expect the price to drop in march, psp dropped to $169.99 in march ps2 dropped to $299.99 in march, and ps1 dropped in price as well in the same month. Like I said history repeats itself. If ps3 were to rocket up in sales higher than the wii, it needs ALOT OF GOOD 3RD PARTY EXCLUSIVES, and AAA EXCLUSIVE TITLES. Why do you think every sony fan praises killzone 2? It has a chance of being the 4 x A EXCLUSIVE, and best shooter yet.

 This argument gets me so steamed I'll even ignore the lack of basic grammar. (even though it is better than most on here)

Earlier, you made a post making fun of someone for using 'what-ifs' and herer you are talking about a $400 PS3. Please, someone...does the concept of selling a console at a huge loss not register with a lot of the Sony fans here?

The OMGzorz!!!!!!!! Lair, Killzone 2, FFXXX will be the bestest game in the friggin' world! Argument is only good to those who are reaching desperately for an answer to why their precious console is in 3rd place behind a "fad" and a melting ring of death.

You know what Resistance is getting outsold by? Mario Party 8. LMAO! Your best game is getting outsold by a kiddie game on the Wii. That, and Resistance has been out for 20 weeks longer than MP8.

Don't get me wrong, it's been less than a year for Sony and less than two for the entire generation, there's still some room to maneuver. The way things are now will not be the way they'll always be.

 

I guess my main point is this, if you love Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft, fine, just don't be so blindly a follower that it distorts your view of reality.
