This thread is not about the hype or lack thereof, nor is it about how many units Corruption will sell. It is not a place to lambast the series for not being an unmentioned game. There are several threads already in use for that. Please, no trolls.
Welcome to the Metroid Countdown. While many of us, myself included, can't wait for Corruption to come out, we should appreciate the coming weeks. How much longer will it be until we can say that a new Metroid is coming out in just a few weeks? Two years? Maybe three? In just a short time we all will have uncovered most of the secrets that lie hidden in this new Metroid saga. Savor your ignorance.

Everyone please take the time to reveal some of your most exciting Metroid stories. When did you first get into the series? What is your favorite game of the series? Do you remember any especially difficult items to find? Judging by my screen name I have a certain fondness for three wall jumping critters that bewildered me for who knows how long. Let's pass this time with a touch of Nostalgia. I'll update the countdown daily.
