Quickest game to 10 million?

 I don't know how big GT really is, but just for the record, GT2 only sold 9.3M. So only 2 of 8 GT games have sold 10M, and half of the main series have.

If there's one trend we've seen this generation, it's that we see less uber selling games, but that the ones that do, sell more. Now, GT is bound to be huge, or even enourmous. I think that 8M is a certanity. Selling 15M is out of the question, but selling 11M, and becomming the 2nd best of 5, is well within reach.

 

Looking back at history it will probaly make 8 million lifetime which i think it can and its the only ps3 game who can make it to 10 million.

 

There's a difference between a userbase of 70+ Mil PS2 and a userbase of 20 Mil PS3.

 

No, not really. Well, of course there is, but in a way it isn't.

Ps3's total software is going to be far, far lower than the Ps2's. What seems to happen though, is for the best selling games to sell equally on a low userbase (Ps3), as they did on large last gen. The reason for this, is that the quantity of good, quality games is lower this generation. Hence why 2 of the 3 main platforms are having relatively small libraries.

So I think it equals it out.

The Ps3 gets half the userbase, but also gets less than half the competition. This means high profile games are likely to sell almost equal to previous generations.

GRAN TURISMO 1 sold 10.85 million

GRAN TURISMO 3 SOLD 14.89 million

GRAN TURISMO 4 sold 10.06 million

 

out of all the GT PROLOGUE games released GT5:PROLOGUE is the highest selling which only says that GT5 will hit high numbers

 If you're not going by VGChartz numbers, you need to state so, and give us a link to the story. VGChartz firmly states 9.5M sales. http://www.vgchartz.com/games/game.php?id=887&region=All. I doubt you have a better source.

I also stated that I believe GT5 will outsell GT4, so your last sentence makes to sense whatsoever with the quote you had.

There's also a good reason GT4 Prologue didn't sell too well. There was already a GT out. Buy a full GT, that's now decreased in price, or a "demo" for the same price? The choice is obvious. This means that GT4:P sales were all from people who owned 3.
