Some more thoughts.
1. Granted they are going for something "new" but isn't it a music game. Thats not new and it isn't even particularly well done. Ahh but Woman ( i assume by Wolfmother) is a good track. In fact not having a Gamecube and seeing Animal Crossing for the first time i thought pretty much the same way when i saw this, Animal Crossing is the Sims copy to this as GH copy.
2. Don't you wonder now ( i don't) why WS2 was just announced before this release.
