1) If you'll read more carefully, I said that it doesn't have any prominent JRPGs. Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon have been rather dissapointing, and the PS3 is still outselling the 360 in Japan despite them. 2) The high price of the PS3 at launch was because Sony knew that several of the PS3's components would decrease in price almost immediately, and they have. Blu-Ray diodes alone are more than $100 cheaper to manufacture than they were at launch, they've removed the Emotion Engine, and the Cell processor will become cheaper to manufacture once they move to a 65nm process. This is why the 60GB model is being phased out(80GB HD's are also cheaper to buy in bulk). There can easily be a $299 PS3 by next Christmas, Sony just didn't think they'd have to do so until much later.

BTW blue dragon and eternal sonota both got awards and high review rankings in japan, while it didnt boost 360 sales in japan as much as they hoped we cant know thats its not good till both come out here in US
That and Lost odyssey looks very promising
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.
Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.
