which country are you from, because most of Europe really isnt doing ok. thats why youve had all these emergency plans and meetings. here in UK things arnt looking good. even though the banks have been prerforming ok trust as gone out the window. northern rock is gone, bradford and bingley are gone and HBOS is on deaths doorstep. Lloyd steped into to save them but now their shares have fallen as well. The government has stepped in and paid out £17 billion. they now have a stake in all major UK banks. the only ones doing ok are abbey (there spanish) and HSBC which is chinese. oh and local councils have proably lost millions by investing in Iceland whose econamy has gone down the drain, brilliant anywho back to consoles i think things will be better next week. new model will push up PSP, LBP will push up PS3 and wii music/tenchu4 willpush up wii. btw disaster reached 20k yayyyy:) |
He is from Belgium same like me and Papflesje. The biggest problem we have now where I and papflesje live is that their is to much work (and that is also a problem in Holland). For example in my city they can't fill 30.000 jobs and the biggest sectors are the Distribution/logistic/expedition..... That are sectors that will not feel it so much because the world demand for the things we ship/distribute are things that the world needs more and more. The world may be in recession but is the demand of oil,steel, etc are going to decrease aswell? But yeah the financial sector like banks have a problem (like one bank stocks decreased 77% in one day) but that is just a small sector;
