I just got vista, I LOVE IT!
I have 3gb of ram and SP1 though, lol.
1. It looks cooler
2. It gives previews of your little windows, and looks sweet. Yeah, 1 and 2 are the same, lol.
3. It's easy to set default programs, ect.
4. Has cooler screensavers.
5. Better games.(comes with majong or however you spell it)
6. This might be my computer, but it doesn't ever crash or slow down(also upgraded PCs at the same time, to mega Squilliam PC, he doesn' know, but I bought that acer he recommended to me, 3ghz multicore ftfw!)?
7. Has direct X 10 or whatever.
8. I hear it's more secure
9. I don't use crap that would need to be compatible.
10. Search, and all those little features are better, imo
It's not the upgrade of the centuries, but I do like it a lot, if you got an extra gig of ram to run it.
