Resident Evil 4 on the PS2 is very gimped down in the graphics department. The Gamecube is far superior than the PS2 version. The controls are the same in both versions... it all depends what controller you like more.
But the best version is the Wii version... it has the Gamecube graphics, all the Gamecube exclusive content and all the PS2 exclusive content, plus, the Wii has the best controls.
Just watch the lighting in the thunder part, the fire or the water... (Gamecube version is the first, then PS2)
