I don't think Capcom has a stated excuse as to why it's not coming to the Wii. As far as I know the controller issue was generated by posters inside this topic. The link just has an ESRB request from Capcom to rate MVC2 for PS3 and 360. The ommision of the Wii in that is what is generating all of this speculation. Frankly, no one really knows anything at this point but the best bet is that MVC2 is going to become a downloadable title with online play and that is why the Wii isn't getting it.
