Intriguing review Mr. Amp.
Although I can't say I didn't enjoy this game, I did encounter some problems while playing the single player campaign. There was always a slight delay with the cursor. After I threw something and focused my IR back in the sensor's sights, it would take a second or two (or more) to find where I was pointing. Not a big deal, except when time was on the line and evil skeleton blox were destroying everything I ever loved. After many failed attempts and sensor bar placements, nothing would help. I gave up after that.
Still, if anything's a blast it is the multiplayer. I love the fort game (where you have to knock down the other players forts). It's great to plead with your friends to spare you... only to realize that this is sweet revenge for them from 2 turns ago when you yourself showed no mercy.
If it's one thing Boom Blox needed, it was time. Time to be polished, and to make sure everything was working perfectly. WiiMotion+ excites me because it can do so much to help the Boom Blox experience. I hope EA is already getting to work, utilizing the technologies of both the peripheral and the actual system (it's not a pretty game, I'll give you that).
