I think that I outlined why the controls are bad pretty well.  Also the game is painstakingly boring.  Graphics were the thing that bothered me the least.

That's a pretty slim outline you gave us, let's elaborate.

"...the actual shooting has a delay."

Technically the delay is the shot reaching the target, meaning you have to lead your shots for far away targets that move. That really constitutes more a design issue than a control one. Which I'd agree is annoying design choice. (I had the same issue with Metroid Prime 3) Also the shooting stages make up only a small piece of the whole game, and were my least stages favorite actually. (That and the damn garden hose.)

"This is difficult when you can grab the correct piece only about one third of the time."

I certainly never anywhere as many mishaps as you did grabbing certain blocks. Also the cursor highlights whatever block you currently have selected, so what was leading to this many mishaps? My only complaint was the lack of a zoom function for further precision in the later stages.

You don't mention the throwing controls at all. Which in my opinion could of used more flex room for the mid-range throws.

And again, why is it boring for you? Because it was fun for me, but I really like crazy psychics flash puzzles on the Internet, so I relished a 3D continuation of the same concept. Obviously not everyone will feel that way.

Yes.  I guess that the shooting was a design choice.  Having to lead an object so far away while having to be quick and precise was a horrible idea.  It was not nearly as much of a problem in MP3 IMO.

The grab tool does not work well on the timed levels.  I'm thinking of the ones where you have to move the blocks in order to get the Gorildas to make it to the end of the stage.  In the expert levels there is no room for error.

I feel the same way about the throwing controls.  You seem to throw a fastball or lob it.  There is no in between.

I found it boring because you would have to do the same task several times.  If it was one of the dreaded shooting sequences, you'd have to do it six times in a row.  The same for the Gorilda stages and all of the others.

This is my opinion of course.  I never said otherwise.  I just don't think it's a well made game and I don't like it.
