I agree surround sound in gaming brings a whole new level of excitement. The Wii is meh, with only Pro-Logic sound. The PS3 and 360 are great offering Dolby Digital and DTS sound in-game. Playing games like Gears, MGS4, GTA4, and Halo 3 on these systems is awesome. A game like Silent Hill really offers a new experience as Konami uses the sound to create an even scarier atmosphere.
