If the xbox 360 does take 3rd place ( i think it might eventually) im guessing at earliest 2009.
Many of you are argueing that FF, killzone, msg4 etc will boost sales and all those games well the same could be said about xbox this fall with halo mass effect bioshock, blue dragon lost odyssey etc so i def see it giving a push but outselling 360 that much is hard to see.
Edit: btw the 360 is not compeletly shut down for 08 while at the moment the ps3 has the best games so far 360 does have a few good ones such as fable 2, cry on, and too human etc
But there is no doubt ps3 has a stronger lineup in 08 which i think will give it the boost but wont overtake in 08 unless something else happens
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.
Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.
