"We" know ?? Who is we? And give a quote for "what Sony has said".
And for your information: the manufacturing costs of the PS3 have been in the $350 region for quite some time now. And Sony has no reason to drop the price at this time. They planned to sell 10 Mio unit this fiscal year and are well within this plan (actually it would mean a sizable manufacturing cost increase if they suddenly were in the 13-15Mio region..)
