A few points:
1. I'm no Clinton fan, but the guy was a moderate liberal and is nothing like, say, Barack Obama, who is a hardcore socialist and a few drinks* shy of communist.
2. "It's the economy, stupid!" was first voiced by James Carville, not Bill Clinton.
*Bonus points to anyone that gets that reference.
