Nobody but me is going to care about this, but...
The parental password used to be plain text as you entered it when you went into the system setup (eg, WiiConnect24, Internet, etc). This has now been masked with the update. Thank you, Nintendo, for doing what should have been done long ago. (it was being masked when you entered it other places, but not here)
And with the keyboard entry, I will no longer have to send my kids out of the room when I enter the pin (as long as I do it via keyboard).
