To me it means that Expectations weren't very high for a game with no online, an unproven control scheme, and on a system whose predecessors had never gotten more than watered down afterthought ports in the series.
The fact that most of the PS3's boost came from around launch period, and right now the Wii version is selling slightly higher than the PS3 version suggests I'm right.
My detective skills falter once you get to the PS3 numbers though.
