Is 2008 the year of PS3

From Wikipedia:

A PlayStation 3 version was announced, but EA stated that the production for this version had been "put on hold",[4] and now may not be released, due to difficulties with the system's architecture.[5]

So there were plans (apologies for my mistake) but there is a very possible chance it will not come out as the official EA word says.

All the other sites are just placeholders because they initially thought it was coming out.

And by the way, if you really want to argue in terms of critical review scores as you did for NG then this is definitely not the year of the PS3 and 2009 is all conjecture at this point. NG2 was marked down because of the similarities to the typical NG formula but it was still above 80 on average, so you are highly exaggerating with 'nowhere near'.

I really wouldnt bet against 360 games coming up trumps again based on the review score trends since the start of this generation.
