I woudn't recommand it. The game is fun at the start but as you advance in the campaign fun becomes frustration. The issue is that you are not in control of your success as random pick-ups and action by the AI can affect you greatly ( once you get to the Phantom, before that it's not really a big issue, so I'm mainly talking about the last 10 races or so) and there isn't a lot you can do against it.. I'm only still playing it because I'm down to the last race and I hate stopping so close to the end..... It's one thing to have crazy hard level in games, but when on top of that there is an amount of luck involved as well as skills it quickly stops to be fun....

better find other game then ... iam not in mood for playing hard game now.
