Intervention is fine.  It just needs to be intervention that makes sense... that promotes global justice in a smart way... that is bottom up.  Not just picking random middle countries like Iraq that can be seen as chosen for American interests.

I do not oppose interventions solely because they tarnish our reputation. I also oppose them because it is not our job to intervene.  

I disagree with isolationism.  Aside from the fact that I believe it's bad for us in the long term, I don't think it's even possible to be truly isolationist in today's globalized economy.  Therefore we have interests abroad and it would be foolish to not defend them.
