Big MS announcement will be Versus going to 360 as well.

Come on, it is expected it is not? We all know Square-Enix are the Judas of video gaming.

Nomura doesn't seem to like the idea of it going multiplat. Course he really doesn't have a huge say in the matter in Sqeenix wants to, but I can't possibly see them doing anything else to tick Sony off.

Last gen I would have said this would have mattered. But the PS3 isn't king-of-the hill like the PS2 was, so why would SE worry about it? You have to be way out in front to make demands of third parties.

IMO they would lose all the respect they have as a company. Sony owns like 8% of the company, they announced ff13 as ps3 exclusive many many many times, still it goes multiplatform. imo they lost alot of respect there.  But hey they want to make money, so in a sence its understandable. But here's the problem ,after they announced ff13 multi, they claimed that versus would be WW exclusive to ps3 many times. If they had announced versus multi at the same time as ff13 it wouldnt be as bad as announcing it now.  I would lose all respect i had for them if this happen.  Still IMO it could happen, square is the judas in gaming after all.

No Square Enix is trying to make back the money they spend on their investment. If you are going to be upset at anyone you should be upset at Sony for dropping the ball with the PS3. If the PS3 wasn't such a cluster f*ck and was as dominant as the PS1 and PS2 none of this would be happening. Exclusives are easy to maintain when you own 70% of the market, third parties know they will make there money back. However when you go from 70% to less than 25%. Third parties have to do adopt a multiplatform strategy if you want to make a profit off of big budget projects. FFXIII probably has the biggest budget of any on going game project.

MGS4 shows that FFXIII would've sold just fine as an exclusive, and would have made SE a profit.

It's just that the profit wouldn't have been enough.  This isn't about SE ensuring that they make their investment back.  It's all about maximizing profitability.

Are you so sure. FFXIII's budget is in the stratosphere. The games been at four e3's already and will be at least five before release. We all know Square Enix was budgeting the game for a system with Wii like sales not third place sales. Between the development difficulties and slow PS3 sales, Square Enix wanted to ensure a hefty profit.
