I think this is a good guess.

I'd be much more interested in hearing about something like Star Fox or Kid Icarus or F-Zero or PILOTWINGS than Mario or Zelda.  Of COURSE there are going to be more Mario and Zelda games!

Speaking of F-Zero, I too am a communist: X was definitely better than GX, although GX is pretty awesome.  I can't debate the rest, I haven't played them enough.
