There are still *a lot* of people playing Halo 2 on Xbox Live with an original Xbox. I would assume that at least some of them are going to upgrade when the inevitable exodus of players go to Halo 3.
As for me I'll be buying it but I'm unsure if I'll be playing online with it. I'm a little weary of online games since I was pretty addicted to Unreal Tournament at one time (I was in a clan, etc).
