I'm not going to run the numbers but I'm willing to bet that if the US charts combined all console versions of a game (including Pokemon and Nintendogs, games that should be combined) then MP8 would have probably been #5 also. I think it's been said frequently before that for any exclusive game to make it into the UK top 10 in general and top 5 in particular that it's doing a really good job.
Interestingly, there's only 4 exclusive games in the top 10 and they are all from Nintendo. The rest are 4 movie games and 2 sports games. Oh well, at least they aren't on the Brain Age craze like the Germans and Spaniards (5 of their 20 top ten spots IIRC).
