Go back and ad up the Japanese sales information week by week from launch, it's not hard to find the numbers for each week, and the NPD numbers for Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb... it's pretty accurate according to my research, and VG Charts is a little bit optimistic as well. I think it's closer to 2 million if not slightly under.
