Could of been the 400,000+ units sold in PAL territories that week.
And yes, what's wrong with 600,000 units in one week at launch? The Xbox 360 sold under 100,000 on it's launch week in North America.
Honestly, Sony had one of, if not the, best launches in a single territory in history. The fact that they sold 400k+ cannot be reduced by any sort of thing other than amazement: Never before had a system opened by selling so many units in a week. We may never see that many at one time get sold again at launch.
