VGC could be right on the money for a major publishers entire catalog but they won't admit it now thanks to NPD's efforts.

This has nothing to do with NPD, they don't even track downloads.

 

Not the point.  Any credibility given to VGC, whether it be download sales or retails sales, undermines NPD's business model.

 

And I'm not telling you this out of speculation, I'm telling you this from industry knowledge.
