PS3 60Gb: 4400-4900 kr. (~ €815-€910 ~ $590-$660)

PS3 60Gb beginner pack: 4999 kr (~ €930 ~ $670)

So the 360 core is already a little cheaper than the Wii here, and the premium is a lot cheaper than the PS3.

I think you got dollars and euros mixed. €280-€310 converts to around $390-$430, so actually consoles much more expensive in EU than you said. I think there should be price cut in EU also and perhaps in Japan too..
