Microsoft definitely knows how deadly this is. The worldwide price cut is a good response. On the other hand, Sony is having absolutely no luck in US. Hopefully the upcoming titles pave the way enough for a solid comeback. As gamers, it should be pretty interesting to see how things will turn out. |
Yea christmas will be big, but 5.5 million is the same advantage that 360 had when the ps3 launched. It would mean something that the gap was shrinking, but it isn't shrinking anymore. Even when the sales drop to constant levels it won't be as low as the ps3 is right now. This may be the last huge christmas for the 360, but if it can hold its ground it will at least hold the lead long enough that it won't matter much when the ps3 passes it because it will be in late 2010 or early 2011.
