OK then after GT 5 what other big franchise does PS3 have? Ofcourse it'll have KZ 2 and Resistance 2 for now but they, like you said about the 360 are not tried and tested franchises. Final Fantasy is a 360 exclusive so you cannnot really count that in.

FFXIII is a PS3 exclusive for Japan, the PS3 is the lead platform and the title will be ported to the 360 with sacrifices.
With regard to big PS2 sequels, the list goes on and on. Look it up on the internet. Personally for me a big sequel is God of War 3 (I bought the first two PS2 games for my PS3, in addition I will buy the new Ape Escape game being developed right now, as you can see in my games list I bought Ape Escape 2 and 3 for my PS3 as well).
