That argument can be valid for one quarter report, but if the sales trend continues for follow up quarters it doesn't make sense. The claim becomes invalid, lots of units left in stock means retailers will buy fewer units for the follow up periods.

 

Mike... are my graphs accurate and correct or not???  If not then you may aswell leave this site because the data used forms the basis of every discussion and debate that takes place here surrounding sales.

What do you mean by accurate? It's accurate based on VGChartz data, is VGChartz data accurate? Yes and no, depending on perspectives. It's certainly not 100% accurate, as for instance else there wouldn't be any major corrections from time to time.

The retail sales from financial reports are however fully accurate (rounded figures though).
