Claiming a game is marketed for it is not the same as saying the game was (essentially) released for it. You can see it however you want, but Nintendo called the game a Gameboy Color game and they are the ones who own it. I don't see how you can call it anything other than a gameboy color game really. Just because they eventually made carts that only fit into the Gameboy Color slot doesn't mean the earlier games weren't released for the system.
