I never played Tempest or rebirth, so I wouldn't know.
It could be any number of didn't JRPG series, including Star Ocean. In other words, I'm not gonna set myself up for any disapointment. But if it DOES happen to be a new Tales game, you'll be seeing me around the Nintendo froums alot more :)
It looked to me just like Abyss, aka NOT Cell shaded. The only thing that looks odd to me is that it doesn't look like a Kosuke Fujishima design. He tends to add more detail to each character, and large varieties of colors. The clothes design is very simplistic.(DotNW characters aren't made by Fujishima either, but they look OK to me. Not as good, but OK.) Still, the graphics looks to me more like Abyss then Symphonia or Vesperia, which they really ought to be going more toward. IMO, anyway,
GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
