No, Malstrom is still wrong about this. This is still clearly an attempt to take over the PSP and iPhone dominated parts of the market. Nintendo can claim it isn't their intention all the want, but it is a bold faced lie. Similar to how they claimed the DS wouldn't replace the GBA, and swore the Wii wasn't competing with the PS360 until it started spanking them in sales. This still strikes me as a retarded business move, but Nintendo has the money to spare and has a far better grasp of the market than I do.
