| twilit said: Hey Ivo, could you give me an idea on how to play better or playing more offensivly? Honestly, this "offensive" stuff is difficult ^^; Or give me a character that plays better with the way I do? I don't mind switching mains, I guess. I might just quit Brawl for something else, again, lol. I'm kind of wanting to start glitch hunting in Loz: TP again... LoZ glitches are the best :D I still haven't done the "get the Master Sword early" glitch, now that I mention it... Dam that glitch is freakin aggrevating >.< But never mind me. My mind is just wandering off, again :P |
Could do a forward moving SH laser to a dashing/dash canceled up smash chasing it, possibly punishing a spot dodge or power shield. Instead of always using B-air you could fast fall a neutral air to a tilt. F-air to U-air works fairly well at lower percentages. You could actually try going for a spike <.<
Your biggest problem is your constant weaving. When you miss, that doesn't automatically mean "Fleeee". Mixing it up and continuing an assault even if you miss the first hit can catch people by surprise if they usually expect you to flee. Even when you'll still retreat. When you actually connect is you're chance to keep the damage going. Shea and Riot do pretty good jobs at this.
Mix it up. This is big, no matter how good a move is, once its expected is not the best anymore. Sometimes throwing things out you might not usually do can throw someone off and make them take an unexpected hit.
Using the same throw you could also change. If you think people are expecting a certain throw and DIing for it, throw them in a direction that will use their DI against them.
I notice you like sticking to the air a bit and use dash canceled up smashes fairly well. You could always give Wario a try. He has ways to punish defensive people with SH Bite so he can force normally defensive characters into offense. Takes some time to learn his range but he's highly rewarding to play.
Just keep in mind the Wario Waft KOes better between 50sec-1min50sec then it does fully charged. Fully charged does more damage but not as much launch. Theres actually a lot of moves like that. =/
Oh, and before I forget again. Shea, you might progress with your characters faster if you used them each for more then one round at a time ^^; Just a thought. Constant switching makes it hard to just get used to a style.
Edit for Fred: I was Glide Tossing, and attempting Grab combos. I also KOed you at 72% with an up smash >.>
